Louis Siragusano
SIRAGUSANO, Louis A., 83, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio, after a brief illness.
He was born March 9, 1928, in Broadacre, Ohio. Lou graduated from Wayne High School in Bloomingdale, Ohio, served his nation proudly in the United States Army and was retired from Weirton Steel Corp. after nearly 40 years.
Lou loved yard work, animals, and spending time with his family. Over the years he was involved with Richmond Little League, area 4-H clubs and the 4-H Livestock Sale Committee.
He has been reunited in Heaven with his father Carmelo Siragusano and mother Angela Siragusano; brothers, William and Samuel Siragusano; sisters, Rose Guilano, Anne Mead, and Gracie Siragusano.
Louis is survived by his wife of 56 years Joyce A. Wallace Siragusano; brother, Joseph Siragusano of Riverview, Fla.; sister, Mary Rogo of Kensington, Ohio; sons, Carmen Derek (Tammy) Siragusano of Richmond and L. Gregory (Lori) Siragusano of Cadiz, Ohio; daughters Lisa (Dan) Greathouse of Weirton, W.Va., and Tracey (Bob) Mazeroski of Richmond, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Friends received at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Road, Wintersville, Ohio, Thursday July 14 from 2-8 p.m. A service will be held at New Life Worship Center, 308 Penco Road, Weirton, W.Va., Friday, July 15 at 11 a.m., Pastor Bob Mazeroski officiating.
