You know what's really great? Not only when you are sure you are right about something, but when you are vindicated. That's how I feel right now. You see, last December, as part of our year-end spectacular, I reported what I saw at the time as the inevitable self-destruction of Big 4 music group EMI, home of the Beatles , predicting its demise for later this year. With the many reasons I thought the man the coolest name, Guy Hands, would probably start a fire sale of assets of a way to save his ass line.

Well, my bank Citigroup me a favor in February and immediately accelerated the process by entering the company behind Guy Hands back, said losing the ass overall. Why accelerate this process? Because banks are in the business of production of silver in itself and guarantees in the form of physical violence (eg, property, employees, etc.) and abstract (eg intellectual property) assets can not make money with an actual sale, and the only time such assets are acquired as security are by default. Simply put, banks do not like holding on to three things:

[Cymbals Eat Guitars] was essentially a solo project at first. They hired A-list indie producer [John Angello (Sonic Youth, Kurt Vile)] to re-contextualize [Cymbals Eat Guitars'] sounds and forces in a folder that is consistent, as repeatedly assured the work of a band BAND.
