TOM Spillane & Co. Ltd., Killarney, and Joint Agent J.C. Gubbins, of O'Connor Murphy Gubbins, Limerick, have today sold 11.5 acres at Rathanane, Kilcummin, Killarney, by public Auction at the Arbutus Hotel, Killarney.
The property comprises circa. 11.5 acres of good quality agricultural land , south facing, and adjacent to Kilcummin Village, and roughly 2.5 miles from Killarney town, and was offered for sale on the instructions of Mr. Tom Doheny, Receiver, Deloitte Accountants & Auditors.
There was great interest in the property, with bidding starting at
€ 90,000 and rising in bids of € 5,000, until the sale price of € 215,000 was reached. The purchaser is understood to be local.
Tom Spillane, Auctioneer of the property, commented: "We are very happy with the price achieved here. "It made just under € 18,700 per acre, which in the current climate is excellent.
